Banana 'pudding'

Mum bought a bunch of banana and this gave me an idea to bake.
I'd had an initial intention to bake a banana cake but the end product turned to be a disastor- the texture is too soft and tastes more like banana pudding. This entry will be deluding and I'll rename it as banana pudding instead of banana cake.

Cut up butter into small cubes.

Add in sugar and mix them up using the creaming method.

Crack in 1 egg. Stir well and set aside for time being.

Mashed the bananas using a fork.

Add in milk and mashed bananas to egg mixture.

Add a tsp of vanilla essence.

Sprinkle in ground cinnamon.

Sift in flour, baking powder and baking soda to the banana mixture.

Add in extra bananas if desire.

Pour batter into loaf tin or pound cake pan.

Arrange banana slices on top of the batter.

Crumbs topping

To prepare crumb topping for the pudding. Rub butter into flour to resemble bread crumbs.

Add in brown sugar and cinnamon powder. Mix by gently stirring.

Cover the surface of the batter with crumbs topping. Bake it at 175C for 30mins.

Tada! Presenting to you my failed banana cake, rename as banana pudding. :P
